INTELIGENCIA NUTRICIONAL
Although eating is a free action and we are supposed to eat well, do we really eat what we want? The answer is not easy. Our diet is influenced by many decisive factors: from our knowledge of dietetics to our personal circumstances, family experiences, advertising, social trends, economic capacity or our own weight. For this reason we consider as “normal” what we have seen at home but it is maybe excessive or unbalanced; or maybe we don't choose the food because it is the optimum but because it has a better advertising image; or we have vitamin deficits because we are on a diet chronically despite not having weight problems, and so on. Knowing the determining factors behind our diet or, what is the same, having nutritional intelligence will improve our capacity of election in order to have better eating habits and be able to choose what is convenient for each moment. As in so many other things, intelligence is essential to eat well. This is a manual to have optimal levels of nutritional intelligence.
