I am not a visual effect. I am not an extension, either. Nor am I the swollen effect of a punch. I am about three centimetres longer than the biggest nose you have ever seen. I am neither snub nor turned up.  Absolutely nothing in me resembles a Greek nose. I am not aquiline, either, unfortunately for me. What a shame! As you can see, I am so wide and foreign, so long, that loads of things can be said about me and you won’t run out of ideas. That is why I get really annoyed when someone just calls me “big nose”—that’s so plain… No way! If you want to talk about me, you have to show imagination and class.

I WILL TELL YOU WHO YOU ARE

Author: Wednesday 29 October 2014

Pando has just joined a skinhead group. His brother Sergio can’t stop thinking about sex even though he doesn’t have very much luck with it. Pando’s girlfriend, Rocío, falls madly in love with her new philosophy teacher Félix, who has just arrived from Peru. Marta, Sergio’s friend, feels new sensations when she meets Blinton, a boy coming from Guinea who cooperates with her to write an essay about NGOs. The book is a moving story of friendship among these teenagers who experience a particular school curse that is difficult to forget. Important things such as love, friendship, violence, racism and the discovery of sex make the book move at a captivating pace from the very first page and does not let up until the closing words, which are themselves surprising.
