A few weeks ahead of the Frankfurt Book Fair, the most important event for publishers and literary agencies, we already have the cover for our catalogue! However, you probably will not understand the inside joke unless you work in the publishing field. Here the explanation:

This year, the Frankfurt Book Fair takes places from Thursday 10th of October to Sunday 14th. From Thursday to Friday, the Fair is exclusively addressed to professionals like publishers, agents or suppliers. During the year, our job is to draw up an agenda for the negotiations to achieve our main goal: SELLING! The meetings should last 30 minutes, there is no more time if you want to meet a lot of publishers, and you only have this time to convince them to fall in love with our books. A speed date with books! Now it’s time to calculate: from 9am to 18:30pm, with thirty minutes dates, it’s a non stop!
