LA LISTA
Brother Lucas, a young and handsome priest, arrives at the island of Tenerife in the middle of a series of mysterious murders and disappearances which seem to be ignored by the Franco authorities. Is 1940 and the Civil War has just finished, but the repression of the winners keeps Spain brimming with blood.
Lucas's destination is the school of San Isidro de la Villa in La Orotava, a particularly beautiful city historically linked with the Spanish Court where the old nobility enjoys a luxurious privileged life. The curiosity of the young friar, who refuses to accept the disappearances, bothers both the social and military elite of the city as well as his religious superiors. However, Luca’s attitude wins the affection of Rosa Pastrana, daughter of the count of Tres Cantos, who falls in love with his kindness, idealism and courage.
When a list numbering marked persons to be killed arrives to Lucas' hands, he and Rosa will have to decide if they risk their lives in a dangerous game of intrigues and betrayals to save 86 names.
