Lynda’s story

After her astounding exit from the Sweet Pink company, Sara Lear is forced to start from scratch.

Under a new identity, she tries to adapt to her new life, but getting rid of the past will turn out to be not so easy when she finds herself in love withthe enigmatic Dark. She knows she is being watched, and still she will put everything at risk again, happen what may.

Historia de Dark (Dark’s Story)

Behind his facade as a star soccer player, Dani is sure that he wants to become a writer.

However, this dream is cut short when he finds out that his book Dark Legend has been published without his consent by the Walrus publishing house. The only thing that keeps him sane is his love story with Lynda, stronger, and more real, with every passing day — or at least that is what he thought …

El octavo clan (The Eighth Clan), a totally addictive novel

Nobody remembers how it happened, just that the waters rose and devoured everything. Only the highest buildings still stand out of the sea. Titanium, steel and glass that keep defying the ocean, and the dangerous creatures that live in it.

Inside these towers, in the city now known as Nyork, seven big clans are in dispute over the cherished “dry ground” — as well as over the even more scarce resources. It’s a fight to death.

In the shadow of these seven big clans, however, there is yet another one — one that everyone believed exterminated, but whose last members are refusing to succumb; a clan that, in its struggle for survival, comes across the opportunity to change everything, to bring back hope to a world where nobody dares hoping for anything anymore.

That is the eighth clan.

Year 2050. The western democracies have fallen into a slow and irreversible spiral of degeneration, becoming authentic plutocracies.

In a globalized world, people’s signs of identity are sold in the market, through the most sophisticated techniques of online advertising. Since early childhood, boys and girls are bombarded on the internet and social networks with advertising tailored to their tastes, psychology and weaknesses, making them the ideal consumer, so that all the vital decisions of these people will be conditioned by their aspirations as consumers.

Education is no longer directed to the integration of people in the job market, but to the upbringing of ideal consumers.

Sara and Dani, two young people who represent the large brands, try to recover their freedom and, in order to do that, they need to break the rules.

Historia de Dani (Dani’s Story)

The readers of the novel will find, attached to the book, four RP cards associated with the launch of a YA novel entitled Dark Legend, whose URL (www.darklegend.com) appears in each card. Apparently, it is a major release by Walrus, a famous publishing house.

Everything seems to indicate that this is Dani Arenas’ secret novel (the protagonist of Historia de Dani, a footballer of the Kine brand) , but… how could it fall into the hands of a publisher? Who is behind all this? And the scribbles… who did them? Why do we get the impression that the fictional characters of this alleged novel are telling something to the reader?

Through a blog, and with the help of the readers themselves, little by little the answers to these questions will be revealed.

Historia de Sara (Sara’s Story)

Through a handwritten letter addressed to Sara that will appear in the cover of the book’s print edition, the readers will learn that Teresa (one of Sara’s classmates) has been expelled when she was about to publish a biography of Juliette (the president of SweetPink) on her corporation’s website. Apparently, this biography contains something that Juliette doesn’t want made public, but Teresa doesn’t know what it is about… All the clues Teresa will be giving will lead the reader to several websites from this future dominated by the big brands. There, they will learn more about this futuristic world the series’ characters live in, and eventually discover Juliette’s dark secret.
