SIBEL, ANNA

She was born on August 17, 1975 in Torroella de Montgrí (Baix Empordà, Girona). She studied Psychology at the University of Girona (UDG) and later completed a Master’s degree in Psychiatry and Child, Adolescent and Adult Psychology at the Hospital Vall d’Hebron in Barcelona.

There she became interested in eating disorders and focused her research on obesity. She was awarded with the National Psychiatry Award for the study she developed on “factors related to obesity from a family-dynamic perspective” (published in books and scientific journals).

She has been directing the amb2 Clinic for more than 22 years, working as a Psychopathologist and combining it as a disseminator of clinical and educational articles (Laertes publishing house), communicator in radio programs and magazines, speaker at conferences, workshops and symposiums and trainer as a tutor of clinical practices of the UNIR and the UB.

She is co-founder of the online academy www.emocionatecontucuerpo.com since 2020.
