Coia Valls has published short stories in collective books with which she has won several awards. She works in the field of children and young readers literature, as well as in the field of adult novel. She is editor in chief of the digital newspaper “Tarragona Literaria” and director assistant of the Escola de Lletres de Tarragona.

As an actress, she participates in the play “In-sensible”, that has been performanced sixteen times through the country: Clausura del Fòrum de Debats de Vic, Sala Trono de Tarragona, Biblioteca de El Vendrell, Centre d’Interpretació “La Pellissa” de Altafulla, among others. Is co-author, with Jordi Ribé, of the text that makes up this play. She has also acted in the Sala Metrònom at Barcelona in the play “Re:Call”; at the XII Poetry Festival at Girona, at the tribute to the poet Feliu Formosa; she has also acted at “Recuperem la paraula”, reading texts written by Mercè Rodoreda at la Diputació de Tarragona, as well as in the spectacle “Contes a la fresca”, organized by Teatre Bravium of Reus.

Another of her sides is the dramatization of poetry texts, as at the show “Qui ha mort una poeta?”, based on the texts by Cinta Mulet and with the direction of Vicenç Cañón.

She is teacher of children as well as especial education, speech therapist and Pedagogy therapist.
